Description:

(1) CO-1 is a handheld cap opening tool designed to remove the cover from the laser diode package, and is used to open photodiodes and LEDs in TO packages (TO-3, TO-5, TO-8, TO-18, TO-39, or TO-46).

(2) During operation, simply place the diode in the two wheels in front of the tool, gently pressurize the handle of the lid opener, rotate the handle, and drive the blade opening. The knurled knob at the "BLADE" position is marked, which can control the cutting distance of the blade when twisting back and forth, and accurately locate the cutting position of the diode. A hardened steel blade can easily cut off the wall cover of the diode cover and be careful to remove it.

(3) For diode packages with different diameters, the clamping device at the handle can be used to limit the gap between the knife edge and the wheel, and a 2.0mm wrench can be used to adjust the tightness to prevent pressure damage to the diode during cutting.
