Optical commonly used thread size standard

Optical Cage Systems

           Optical Cage Systems, also known as Optical Cage, is a modular structure used for assembling and adjusting optical components. Optical components can be installed along a common optical axis through four rigid steel support rods. The cage system can be compatible with optical components of Ø 1/2 inch, Ø 1 inch, or Ø 2 inch, respectively, with a center spacing of 16mm, 30mm, or 60mm. It consists of multiple detachable components, including a mounting base, cube, cage plate, optical path sleeve, component holder, and reflector frame, as well as adapters that can switch back and forth between three different sizes of cage systems. It can be quickly disassembled, assembled, and adjusted as needed. In addition, the cage system can be integrated into the optical device by installing extension rods, mirror sleeves, or various other installation options.

Description

(1) The CSA05 series Ø 1/2 inch lens sleeve adopts standard SM05 (0.535 "-40) thread, which can be continuously stacked and directly connected to the threaded components of SM05 (0.535" -40). Compatible with 16mm cage systems, capable of flexibly building compact optical assembly systems.

(2) The lens sleeve is compatible with mounting optical components up to 1/2 inch (12.7mm) in size, and each sleeve comes with a CSK05 snap ring. The optical components are separated and fixed by the snap ring. In addition, additional snap rings can be purchased separately to construct and position multiple optical components within the lens sleeve.
