Description

(1) The circular magnetic base is composed of two parts: the top plate and the bottom plate. The top plate can be easily removed and replaced by interrupting the magnetic force connecting the two plates with the side ON/OFF switch. High strength magnets in the base provide 4.5lbs holding force when the switch is set to ON. And the top plate has a ball and V-groove design that can be automatically repositioned to the exact position repeatedly with high precision.

(2) There are M6 screw holes through the center of the top plate, on which different components can be mounted. There is a Ø6.2mm countersunk hole in the center of the bottom plate, which can be screwed in with cap screws to fix the base on an optical table or breadboard.

(3) In addition, the groove of the bottom plate can be used to fix the base to any position on the optical table by PCL-4 pressing block.
