Description

(1) In settings that require frequent replacement of optical components or occasional insertion of reference components into the optical path, for installation components that need to be inserted and removed out of the optical path, using a quick release base can greatly save assembly time. The base has a top plate and a bottom plate that are mechanically connected by locking threads, allowing
very high repeatability to install, remove and replace optical components.

(2) The base is designed with a threaded locking mechanism located in the center of the bottom plate. Turn the thumbwheel to fasten the top plate to the bottom plate. Since the locking mechanism is located at the center of the three motion reference points, the locking pressure is applied gradually and evenly, and the three polished steel balls on the bottom plate are aligned with the hardened
cones, grooves and planes on the top plate, so the upper and lower plates can be Achieve precise repeat positioning.

(3) The bottom plate has 4 M6 countersunk holes with a length of 31.4mm, which can be installed on the platform or breadboard in any position and in any direction.

(4) The top plate has different threaded hole arrays to choose from. The COB-K1 top plate has 21 M4 threaded holes and 20 M6 threaded holes. The COB-K2 top plate has 9 M6 threaded holes and 2 M6 countersunk holes with a length of 38.6mm. The top plate can be purchased separately for interchangeable use with different optomechanical devices.
