The vernier micrometer is the standard drive for the manual actuators of most stages. The SM25 has a stroke of 25mm and a load capacity of 23lb. The SM13 has a stroke of 13mm and a load capacity of 9lb. The pitch of the micrometer is 0.5mm (50.8TPI), and it is directly read in increments of 100um, and the vernier reading is 10μm.
