Description

(1) The CSD-HLX is a device that can freely rotate the optical element around a point in the center of the cage assembly to achieve true universal
motion. The distance between the two through holes of the fixture frame on the gimbal is 30*30mm. It can be installed on the 30mm cage system horizontally or vertically by using a Ø6mm support rod, and the position of the gimbal is locked by the set screw on the side (use a 1.5mm wrench) .

(2) The optical component mounting bracket is compatible with Ø1 inch lenses up to 4.7mm thick, and the optical components are fixed in the central threaded area of SM1 (1.035"-40) through the attached CSK3 retaining ring.

 

(3) When in use, after roughly setting the angular direction of the optical element mounting bracket, you can adjust the 2 fine adjustment screws with a 2mm hexagon wrench (that is, 2 100 TPI adjusters, adjust 13mrad per revolution) to make a certain spot deviation. move to align it precisely. The second angular degree of freedom is achieved by rotating the intermediate mount. This mount connects the optic mount to the cage assembly and is free to rotate ±30º.

 

(4) Locking mechanism When the set screw is loose, it can be manually adjusted by 360 rotations for coarse adjustment, and for fine adjustment of two adjustment screws (using a 1.5mm wrench). Coarse and fine adjustments can be locked with a 2mm wrench to fully hold the position. Only adjust fine adjustment, need to lock the 1.5mm set screw hole .
