Optical Cage Systems

           Optical Cage Systems, also known as Optical Cage, is a modular structure used for assembling and adjusting optical components. Optical components can be installed along a common optical axis through four rigid steel support rods. The cage system can be compatible with optical components of Ø 1/2 inch, Ø 1 inch, or Ø 2 inch, respectively, with a center spacing of 16mm, 30mm, or 60mm. It consists of multiple detachable components, including a mounting base, cube, cage plate, optical path sleeve, component holder, and reflector frame, as well as adapters that can switch back and forth between three different sizes of cage systems. It can be quickly disassembled, assembled, and adjusted as needed. In addition, the cage system can be integrated into the optical device by installing extension rods, mirror sleeves, or various other installation options.

Description

(1) The rotating mounting bracket provides the function of 360 ° continuous rotation, with a dial indexing of 2 °. The center of the mounting bracket is laser engraved with a alignment line to assist in reading. Users can rotate, adjust and install optical components according to their actual needs, and lock the rotating seat by tightening the side set screws with a 1.3mm hex wrench.

(2) The mounting bracket has an SM05 (0.535 "-40) inner screw hole and comes with a CSK05 snap ring for installing and fixing optical components. Its design allows for the installation of optical components up to 6mm in thickness in our 16mm cage system. If thicker optical components need to be installed, users can use an SM05 series lens sleeve to install them to the front end of the mounting base.

(3) The SPCM series Ø 4mm cage rod can be inserted into the through-hole of the installation seat, integrated into the 16mm cage system. Use a 1.5mm wrench to tighten the side set screws to secure the cage rod position of the adjustment bracket.
